1. Shiloh House – Dec 7, 2024 1200-1500 MST.

Shiloh House mission: Through a home-like setting, help children between the ages of 5-18 overcome the impact of abuse, neglect and trauma.
2. Kids at Heart - Dec 14th 1500-1900 MST.

Mission: Foster home respite and support, providing opportunities, special events, and relationships that are unavailable within the limited foster/adoptive care environments. (6-17 years old).

Denver Health mission: Provide emotional well-being, minimizing stress, and maximizing coping for children and their families throughout their hospital stay.

Orion House mission: Support 12–18 year old children with developmental delays who require additional support and assistance in life skills formation and emotional support

FLS mission: Provide housing and support services to single moms and their children who are escaping domestic violence and the threat of homelessness.

House of Hope's mission: Provide a home atmosphere and school participation to children (Infant -14 years old), as their mothers seek/establish employment commitments.

Sunday, December 8th, 2024 - 13:00 to 16:00 MSTFLS provides housing and support services to single moms and their children who are escaping domestic violence and the threat of homelessness. In the "open house" style event, we play carnival games, make crafts, and play play play with the children who reside in the FLS community.

Kids at Heart

Denver Health PFK Visit
Friday, December 20th, 2024 - 11:00 to 14:00 MSTVisit and deliver gifts with both the hospitalized children and the at-risk teens at Denver Health. Denver Health. Denver Health's Child Life program is committed to the practice of family-centered care by promoting play, education, developmental and psychosocial support, specializing emotional well-being, minimizing stress, and maximizing coping for children and their families throughout their hospital experience. It is a unique opportunity for DEN PFK to share our time and see these kids for the special young humans they are.

Orion House (exact time TBD- follows Denver Health visit)
Friday, December 20th, 2024 - 15:00 to 16:00 MSTOrion House supports 12–18 year old children with developmental delays who require additional support and assistance in life skills formation and emotional support. Spend some quality time with these kids, give gifts and have fun while sending a positive message of a caring community. Small group only: location disclosed by Jolanda Witvliet upon rsvp.
